Graham Ellison (EVANS, Ga.)

EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Graham Parks Ellison Sr., 66, beloved husband of Mrs. Lottie Ellison, entered into rest on Wednesday August 23, 2006 at his residence. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday August 25, 2006 at Warren Baptist Church with Reverend Eddie West officiating.. Pepper was born in Augusta, GA to Bob and Jake Ellison of Parksville, SC. He grew up in Parksville and attended McCormick High School. He went on to attend Augusta College after graduation. Pepper worked for Proctor and Gamble for 25 years and retired at 51 years of age. After retirement, he invested into a franchise with Computerland Corporation with his wife Lottie, and son, Graham. He always enjoyed going on fishing and camping trips with his grandchildren. Pepper was an avid golfer and was a long time member of Jones Creek Golf Club as well as a charter member of Champions Retreat Golf Club. He was known around Riverwood Plantation as the unofficial "Mayor of Mitchell Park" His involvement with Riverwood Plantation afforded him the opportunity to travel with the development team, which gave him a great sense of joy and personal satisfaction. Pepper spent his final years surrounded by his family and friends. His love for people was returned to him many times over as is evident by the large number of friends he had. Pepper was an honorary life member of the Georgia Sheriffs' Association and a supporter of the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes. Additional survivors include his loving wife Lottie Ellison; two sons, Graham P.Ellison Jr. (Cheryl) and Robert W. Ellison; two daughters, Kimberly Castello (David) and Cynthia Starnes (Russ); a sister, Shirley Cartledge (Donald), and 11 grandchildren, Johnny Los, Amber Los, Hannah Castello, Parker Ellison, Anna Grace Ellison, Miles Ellison, Robbie Ellison, Austin Ellison, Caitlin Starnes, Tyler Starnes, and Ryan Starnes The family will receive friends at the church following the service. If so desired, memorials may be made to Christ Baptist Church, 770 W. Five Notch Rd., North Augusta, SC 29860 or to the Georgia Sheriffs' Youth Homes Inc., P.O.
