WEDNESDAY

IN GOOD TASTE: In Good Taste, a benefit for the Ronald McDonald House Charities, will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Julian Smith Casino, 2200 Broad St. There will be sample foods from restaurants, music by quietSTORM and art by Pastel on Central. THIRD ANNUAL DISCOVERY PARTY: The event will be from 7 p.m. to midnight at Fort Discovery, 1 Seventh St., and will feature Augusta Mayor Deke Copenhaver, Wade Padgett, Austin Rhodes, Dr. Bill Karp. There will be an open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, live jazz, three gaming tables, an auction for trip on a private jet. Catering will be provided by Delaplane's.
