Ann Coulter's column spoke to many

I miss Ann Coulter, and didn't realize how many of your subscribers used to read her column in the Friday papers. Her column could truly shock and awe some people; it would make some say "Go, Ann!" or "How dare she?" She can make you stark, raving mad or make you say that you like the way she expressed her opinion, and that is what her column is: her opinion.

I used to look forward to the Friday paper, but not anymore. The Friday paper is just another issue now. By dropping Ann Coulter, your paper has lost a major part of its diversity.

Over the past few years, it seems as though The Augusta Chronicle has edged to the left, but nothing like The New York Times or The Atlanta Constitution. When you dropped Ann Coulter, you should have dropped coverage of the Augusta commissioners. At least we know why Ann thinks as she does; who knows where the commissioners are coming from or much less going?

I wish your paper could be fair, bold and unafraid, like my favorite cable news show.
