Fresh vegetables

Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church of Evans will provide free produce to needy families through a Golden Harvest Food Bank Manna Truck at 8:30 a.m. today at the church, 703 Furys Ferry Road. Call (706) 860-7091.

Mentor workshop

A workshop for volunteers interested in mentoring youths at risk, incarcerated or in aftercare programs will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way. The event is sponsored by Full Circle Refuge Inc., Juvenile Justice Ministry.

Camp meeting

The Sammy Glass Family, of Decatur, Tenn., will sing at 7 tonight at the Mount Moriah Camp Meeting on Campground Road in Matthews, Ga. Services will be at 7:30 each night through Sunday, July 23, with additional services at 11 a.m. Sundays.

Bible teacher Linda Lariscy, of Wrens, Ga.; evangelist Walter Connell, the pastor of Snowhill Church of God in Glenwood, Ga.; and the Rev. Leon C. Price, of Wichita, Kan., will be guest speakers.

AME district meet

The Rev. George Clements, a Catholic priest who founded One Church-One Child, One Church-One Addict and One Church-One Inmate to recruit faith communities in helping the disadvantaged, will be guest speaker during the Leadership and Ministry Congress of the Sixth Episcopal District, African Methodist Episcopal Church, Tuesday through Friday at Augusta Marriott Hotel & Suites, 2 10th St.
