An Inconvenient Truth is a movie. It has a message. All movies do. But, this message is real. It is a warning - a warning about what will happen if we don't do something, and fast. It doesn't demand that you do something; it doesn't even demand that you go see it - but it hopes that you will. It hopes that you will see its message and follow through.
We made a start Friday. Before that it wasn't even playing in Augusta. It was a minuscule step. My parents and I went to see it Sunday, and there were maybe 10 of us in the whole theater. But at least we made that step, that effort, to support something - a cause we should all believe in, every single one of us in the whole world.
This is a problem that has no boundaries. It doesn't care about your race, your gender, your age or your country. There is only one way to defeat it, and that is head-on, with the support of every one of us.
