South Carolina's Demus ready for next step
COLUMBIA, S.C. - Former South Carolina track star Lashinda Demus doesn't stand for second at anything, so it's no surprise that even a second straight national title in the 400 hurdles - along with a $100,000 payday - didn't leave her satisfied.

When I tell her "no," she starts yelling at me because I'm "too picky," and leaves the store in a rage.

You don't have to be in church to practice beliefs
Every so often, I'm asked what church I attend, and I sometimes hesitate to answer because I really don't have a church I attend regularly, and when I give that answer, people's perception of me usually changes. It's like I go from being an intelligent guy to a heathen in a matter of seconds.
