AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Lannis Jenkins of Victoria Street entered into rest Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Survivors are his wife, Lillian Beatrice Jenkins, Augusta; four sons, Gregory (Vernessa) Smith, Carl (Evelyn) Smith, Lannis (Shirley) Smith and Duane (Shalanda) Jenkins, Augusta; two daughters, Sheila (Christ) White, Christal Jenkins, Augusta; two sisters, Mary Jenkins Chavis, Augusta and Bernice (Mike) Utley, North Augusta; four brothers, Wilbur (Victoria) Jenkins, Jr. Terry (Debbie) Jenkins, Ralph (Carlean) Jenkins and Williams (Cassandra) Jenkins, all of Augusta; 13 grandchildren, one great-grand and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
