Alma Garvin   (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Saturday, June 18, 2006 in the University Hospital, Mrs. Alma Marie 'Tanky' Garvin of R.A. Dent Blvd. She is survived by one son, Mr. Percell (Rubye) Garvin; one daughter, Mrs. Yvonne S. Cail; a special cousin, Mrs. Ella Louise Prince, all of Augusta; two grandchildren, Pierre C. (Donna) Cail and Tammy Cail McRae; four great-grandchildren, Niki Cail, Misty McRae, Matthew McRae and Ryan Cail; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Martinez, Ga., of which Rev. George Smith is pastor. Funeral details will be announced by Dent's Funeral Home. The Historic Dent's Undertaking Establishment serving the CSRA since the 1880's.
