AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Saturday, June 17, 2006, Mr. Allen R. Connors, husband of the late Mrs. Ruth Spires Connors, of 1925 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA. Surviving are four daughters, Faye (Butch) Hall, Augusta, GA, Susan (Michael) Erb, Augusta, GA, Kay Kelly, Evans, GA and Jackie Connors, Augusta, GA; three sons, James (Anna Jean) Sullivan, Graniteville, SC, Allen (Liz) Connors and Jerry Connors, all of Augusta, GA; one sister, Charlotte Morse, Augusta, GA; fourteen grandchildren, Randy Williams, Joey Hall, Scott Hall, Chrissy Hall, Michelle James, Kristi Erb, Sonny Prewett, Mark Woody, Brandon Connors, Damon Halford, Michael Kelly, Jr., George Dohn, Tony Sullivan, and Michael Sullivan and fourteen great grandchildren. The family said that he loved his grandkids and he had some special ones who took good care of him. Mr. Connors was born in Augusta, GA to the late Jerry and Mamie Jordan Connors. He retired from the City of Augusta with 25 years of service and a member of First Assembly of God, Augusta, GA. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 3 o'clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Davenport officiating. Interment will follow in Vaucluse Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sonny Prewett, Damon Halford, Randy Williams, George Dohn, Joey Hall, Mark Woody, Christian Dohn, Scott Hall and Brandon Connors.
