AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Katherine Louise Moore Davison, age 85, wife of the late Davenport Davison, Sr. entered into rest at Lake Crossing Health Center on Saturday June 17, 2006. Graveside services will be held today, Monday June 19, 2006 in Westover Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dan White officiating. Survivors include two sons, Davenport Davison Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Appling, James Davison and his wife Claudia of Augusta; one daughter, Katherine Davison Dana and her husband Bruce of Appling; one brother, Henry Moore and his wife Bennie of Durham, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Richard Arnold Griffin and wife Tessa of Calhoun, GA., Carl Edward Griffin and wife Cyrise of Hartwell, GA, Katherine Jennifer Griffin of Cartersville, GA., Palmer Davison Ball and husband Michael of Spartanburg, S.C., Wallace Scales Davison of Charlotte, N.C., Elizabeth Sansom Willimon and husband William of Athens,GA., Mark Anthony Davison of Augusta, James Wiggie Davison of Augusta, and Susan Swanson Roberts and husband Chet of N. Augusta.; ten great grandchildren; two very special friends , Patsie and James Rahney of Augusta. Mrs. Davison was a member of Trinity on the Hill Methodist Church, and the Augusta Country Club, Wayside Garden Club, University Hospital Women's Board, the Junior League of Augusta- Emeritus status after fifty three years of membership.
