AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Betty Jean Thomas of Sugarberry Drive entered into rest Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at First Metropolitan Baptist Church with Rev. Enoch Ward officiating. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Walker Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 3313 Sugarberry Drive at 11:40 a.m. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 19, 2006 from 6 to 7 p.m. She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Vincent (Annie) Thomas; grandchildren, Brandon and Bobby Thomas, III; mother, Rosa Thomas; sister, Ernestine King; six brothers, Bobby (Oddessa) Thomas, Sr., Earl (Gert) Thomas, John (Phyllis) Thomas, Larry Thomas, Ron Thomas, Anthony (Miranda) Thomas; two grandchildren; one devoted aunt, Julia Reuben and a host of other relatives and friends.
