WATERVILLE, OH. - Louis H. Huddleston, 88 years, of Waterville, Ohio and formerly of Evans, Ga., died Monday, May 29, 2006 in his residence. Born July 15, 1917 in Centre Point, Ark., he was the son of Edward and Audry Graves Huddleston. He was a retired officer in the U.S. Navy. In retirement, he and his wife enjoyed traveling the U.S. for many years in their motor home, but the light of his life was being involved with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Linda (John) Bellinger of Waterville, Ohio; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Lynne Ahearn Huddleston, his parents and five brothers and sisters. Memorial services with military honors will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 4408 Evans to Locks Road, Evans, Ga., with the Rev. Charles Stakely officiating. Interment will be private. The family suggests that tributes take the form of contributions to the Augusta Rescue Mission, 520 Walker St., Augusta, Ga., 30901.
