GREENJACKET ACTION: Augusta's favorite baseball team takes on the Rome Braves at 7:05 p.m. at Lake Olmstead Stadium, 78 Milledge Road. General admission is $6.


REGISTER NOW: Teens in Action with Goals (T.A.G.) is accepting students for their fourth annual Step Camp July 6-9 at Hickory Knob State Park in McCormick. Those interested in a competitive traveling step team should apply. Camp is $50 per person and space is limited. Call (706) 796-6819.


THE BIG SCREEN: Start off your weekend with The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, starring Lucas Black and rapper Bow Wow. This time, the street-racer movie travels to Japan, where we find the American gang up against some Japanese drivers with ties to organized crime.

Also out is the romance The Lake House, starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves, and the kid-flick Garfield: The Tale of Two Kitties.

DONATE OR PURCHASE: The Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta will offer a UUsed Book, Music & Movie Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help raise funds for various projects, including the Heifer Project Read to Feed program, which aims to help end world hunger and poverty through self-reliance and sustainability. Sale continues Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. Donations of books, CDs, LPs, cassettes, videos and DVDs will be accepted at the church, 3501 Walton Way from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Hardcover and paperbacks should be in good condition.
