Patricia Kulju (SARDIS, Ga.)



SARDIS, Ga. - Patricia Kulju, 56, entered into rest on Sunday, June 11, 2006, at University Hospital. Born in Jenkins County, Georgia on June 23, 1949 to the late Harry and Fannie Brinson Jenkins, she had lived in this area most of her life. Mrs. Kulju was a school bus driver for 16 years for Edmund Burke Academy and was a substitute for the Burke County School System. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Tony Kulju of Sardis; a daughter, Tonya Davis (Shane) of Sardis; 3 brothers, Harry T. Jenkins, Jr. of Commerce, Jimmy W. Jenkins and Bobby C. Jenkins of Sardis; a sister, Carolyn Hamilton of Sardis; 2 grandchildren, Shelby Davis and Shane Brinson Davis of Sardis, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roy Cates officiating with burial to follow at Jenkins Family Cemetery in Sardis, GA. Active pallbearers will be Bobby Jenkins, Jr., Douglas Jenkins, Dickie Jenkins, Kevin Ellison, Ashley Jenkins, "Mann" Tobias, Jr., and Billy Hamilton. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Jenkins, Bill Chance, Jr., Timmy Chance, Josh Chance, Oliver Sanders, Tommy Jenkins, and Jonathan Hillis.
