Ernest L. Frank (WILLISTON, S.C.)

WILLISTON, S.C. - Services for Ernest L. Frank, 78, will be held three p.m. Sunday, June 4 at the Williston United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial with Masonic rites accorded will be at Barnwell County Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O. Box 1123, Bamberg, SC 29003. Folk Funeral Home, Williston is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Frank died on Saturday. Born in Umbarger, Texas he was a son of the late Vivian Moore and George Frank. He served in the Korean Conflict and continued to serve in the Army Reserve until his retirement. He retired from DuPont in January 1986. He formerly served as Captain and was a charter member of the Williston Rescue Squad. He was a member of the Hope Masonic Lodge #126 for fifty years and had served as Worshipful Master in 1970. He was a member of the Williston United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Vernell Frank; two daughters, Anly Frank Widener of Clearwater, SC and Amy (Robert) Frank Zeigler of Ocala, Fl.; four stepdaughters, Donna Owens of Williston, SC, Carolyn Perkins of Charlotte, NC, Bobbie Marshman and Elaine Bolen both of Williston, SC; one step-son, Steve Bellamy of Aiken, SC and a number of grandchildren.
