HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Veronique Anette Gowdy, 32, of Ramswood Drive entered into rest Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. She was a native of Hall County, Ga., a 1995 graduate of Paine College, University of Phoenix (MBA), a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and employed by Ipswitch, Inc. as a Senior Technical Support Specialist. Survivors are her husband, David Gowdy, Jr.; one daughter, Kaitlyn Gowdy, Hephzibah; two step-daughters, Ashley Gowdy, Augusta and Megan Gowdy, Auburn, Ala; mother, Anner Goudelock, Gainesville, Ga.; brother, Jerome (Tamara) Goudelock, Chicago; grandfather, John Henry E. Cheeks, Gainesville, Ga; niece, Michele Booth, Chicago; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David (Ruth) Gowdy, Augusta; sister-in-law, Shelia Gowdy, Gaithersburg, Md.; a host of other relativesand friends.
