William Herman Huebner (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Monday, May 29, 2006 (Memorial Day) at University Hospital, Mr. William Herman Huebner, 79, husband of Mrs. Dorothy E. Huebner. Mr. Huebner was a native of Chicago, IL .and lived in Augusta the past five years. He was a graduate of St. Gregory High., a US Navy Veteran of WWII where he served on the USS Essex (CV-9). Mr. Huebner was a member of St. Mary On-The-Hill Catholic Church. He had a career as a draftsman for 47 years. Family members in addition to his wife include his sons: Mark G. Huebner and wife Carla of Martinez, John A. Huebner of Raleigh N.C.; brother: Paul R. Huebner and his wife Dolores of Surprise, AZ. He is also survived by his niece Linda Boomer and nephew Paul Huebner, Jr. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary On-The-Hill Catholic Church with Rev. Charlie Hughes celebrant. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. P.O. Box 1132 Fairfax, VA 22038-1132.
