Who doesn't love the astonishing leaps technology has made? It makes our lives not only easier but also longer. Who could live without a refrigerator? What teenager doesn't have (or at least desire) an iPod? Technology is essential to the modern American lifestyle.

The iPod Shuffle is one of the better deals in digital music players. For less than $100, you get the unique design sensibility and simplicity of Apple Computer products, combined with the ability to hold 120-240 digital music files or mounds of simple data such as word files. About the size of a pack of gum and just in time for summer, the iPod Shuffle is the perfect mate for those running and resting in the sun.

Mom should know that girl is making life plans with boy

History can prepare us for future
As if my midteen crisis was not already causing me to question my identity, my junior year in high school has provided an identity crisis that will most likely not be rivaled by my "core" years of college.

Mom should know that girl is making life plans with boy
I'm a 17 year-old girl, and I've been dating this man who is 21. I've been telling my mother that I've been going out with my friends, and I've really been going out with him. We're in love, and he's (been) telling me that we're going to move in together and start a family. Should I believe him? Should I tell my mother that I've been dating this man and that I might be moving in with him ... or should I keep this a secret?
