Surviving family members include his son, Tracy Stephens Teasley Jr. of Grovetown; daughter, Stephanie Teasley ( Paul) Eicher of Lincolnton, Ga; grandchildren, Tracy S. Teasley III, Tanner Spencer Eicher; brothers, Donald L. (Phyllis) Teasley, John A. (Judy) Teasley II . Mr. Teasley was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta and married to Jane for 43 years. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. He served in the National Guard during the Vietnam Era and was honorably discharged in 1959. He had been a licensed real estate agent since 1959 and was the owner of Tracy S. Teasley Real Estate and Insurance Company from 1963 to 1995. He was a member of the Augusta Board of Realtors. He was an active member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church and Chairman of the Administrative Board Council. He was a member of the Turner - England Fellowship Class, head usher, head greeter, president of the Methodist Men's Club and was a certified lay speaker. As a former member of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church, he had been the Chairman of the Finance Committee. He was a past member of the Richmond County Republican Party and a past president and member of the Augusta Jaycees. He was a loving husband, daddy and papa who loved his God and church; he will missed daily. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 24 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Rev. He held deep love for all children and children's athletics. He had served as a volunteer baseball and soccer coach since 1987. He was preceded in death by his father, Dick Gilmer.
