Margaret H. Smith   (LINCOLNTON, Ga.)



LINCOLNTON, Ga.- Mrs. Margaret H. "Peggy" Smith, 76, wife of the late Mr. E.D. "Smitty" Smith, of 156 Peachtree St., entered into rest on Monday, May 15, 2006 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Friday May 19, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson, Ga. with Chaplain John Hawkins officiating. Mrs. Smith was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 194 of Lincolnton, Ga., the Forty and Eight La Societe de Femme Cabane 719 de Georgia of Augusta, Ga. and a member of the Lincolnton United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters and a son-in-law, Candy and Steve Pavliscsak of Thomson, Ga., Tina S. Goldman of Lincolnton and Dana Smith of Akron, Ohio; one grandson, Chris Goldman and wife, Marcella; three granddaughters, Niaya and Minta Pavliscsak and Lacey Goldman; two great-grandsons, C.J. Goldman and Baili Pavliscsak and one great-granddaughter, Carson Goldman. Pallbearers will be Walt Armour, Robert Ashmore, Bill Bradford, Chris Goldman, C.J. Goldman, Flint Matthews and Richard Welch. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the American Legion Post 194 and Locale Voiture 719 in Augusta. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Carville Star, C/O Nancy Thomas, 4103 Serendipity, Martinez, Ga. 30907.
