CLEARWATER, S.C. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, Mr. E. Wadus Waller, beloved husband of Mrs. Marchie Davis Waller for 65 years, of 125 Bleachery Street, Clearwater, SC. Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Sandra Bates, Monroe, GA and Diane Jackson, Grovetown, GA and one granddaughter, Cheryl Bates Haralson, Loganville, GA. Mr. Waller was born in Wrightsville, GA to the late J. T. and Dessie Tompkins Waller. Mr. Waller was a U.S. Army Veteran of W.W. II and a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from Marks Handkerchief Co., Augusta, GA with 29 years of service. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and served as a deacon. Funeral services will be on Friday, 2 o'clock p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Swanson and Dr. Finley Sizemore officiating. Mr. Waller will be placed in the church on Friday at 1 o'clock p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Julian Roberts, Charles Adams, Billy Gresham, Tom Adams and LaRue Godbee. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 at Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy.
