Mrs. McCaughin was a communicant of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Aiken. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus Council #3684 and was a past-president of the Woodside Ladies Golf Association and a member of Women of Woodside. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters and a daughter, Cynthia Johnson, who died in 1985. JOHNSTON, S.C. - James Cleveland Holmes, Sr., husband of Jacquelin Feagle Holmes of Johnston, died at his home May 4, 2006. He was the son of the late Grover C. and Alma Gibson Holmes. He was a member of the Ridge Agricultural Club. Mr. Holmes was an avid Dove Hunter and perpetuated his love of the sport by hosting seasonal dove shoots for close friends. He was a member of the Johnston United Methodist Church. Mr. Holmes issurvived by his wife; one son, James C. Holmes, Jr., Johnston; granddaughters, Jamie Catherine Holmes, Cincinnati, Ohio, Leisa Holmes Feagen of Augusta and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Morris Holmes and his sister, Edna Holmes Wofford. DESTIN, FL. - Mr. Phillip Gerard Holley, 49, beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many died Monday, May 1, 2006 at Destin Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center where he received much love and care. Mr. Holley was born in Athens, GA and was the son of the late Senator and Mrs. R. Eugene Holley of Augusta, GA. Mr. Holley attended The Academy of Richmond County. He began his professional career at Frank Christian Studios where he was responsible for the development and printing of black and white as well as color negatives for seventeen years. Because of his extensive knowledge of Frank Christian's Historic Golf Prints Collection, he transferred to Fort Walton Beach when the collection was sold to Edwin Watts Golf Shop in 1998. His vast amount of knowledge of the printing process, archives of film negatives, as well as the history of the Masters Golf Tournament proved to be invaluable to his employer where he was the only remaining original employee. The avid golfer had many passions in his life including the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons. He also loved to hunt, fish and photograph his friends and family. He loved both his Florida and Augusta homes where he had numerous family members and many friends. He will be dearly missed by those that knew him. Survivors include his son: Michael Ryan Holley of Augusta; a sister, Mrs. Anna Holley Avrett of Augusta; three brothers, Robert Holley, Stephen Holley and E.
