SFC, US Army HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Retired SFC Deacon Jesse H. Heath, Jr., entered into rest on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Heath was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 36 years. He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, where he obtained the rank of SFC E7. A veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and was decorated with many honors. He leaves cherished memories to his wife of 50 plus years, Mrs. Louise Hunter Heath; sons, Retired MSG USAF Norris I. (Virginia) Heath, Terrance H. Heath; daughter, Gail L. (Roy, Jr.) Peake; grandchildren, Audra L. Heath, Amanda V. Shedrick, Gregory A. Shedrick, Parker Heath, Sydney L. Peake, Kellen M. Peake; brother, Sammie L. (Betty) Heath; sister, Aggie M. Heath; sisters-in-law, Emma L. Hightower, Zenorbia Heath, Marilyn Heath, Betty Washington, Joanne Heath; brother-in-law, Willie J. Hunter, J.B. Blackshear; uncle, O.C. Pearman and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, May 5, 2006, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor K. B. Martin, officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
