MY THOUGHTS: We seem to ignore the world of literature and go see the movie instead of read the book. But the movie rarely does the book justice.

The Sisterhood series (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Second Summer of the Sisterhood and Girls in Pants: The Third Summer of the Sisterhood) are great books. They are about a group of friends who have never been separated until one summer. They then share a pair of "magical" jeans that one of them finds in a thrift shop and it helps them share their emotions and stories with one another while they are miles apart.

These are great kickback-on-the-beach books or lay-at-home-with-the-sunshine-beamin'-on-you type of books, so put them on your summer reading list. These books are the coolest chick novels you'll ever read. Enjoy, girlfriend!
