On evolution, science trumps faith
Many argue that evolution conflicts with the Bible, and should not be taught to their children. This response is similar to the one nearly 500 years ago when Copernicus showed that the observed motions of the sun, planets and stars fit far better with a fixed sun and spinning earth rotating about it, rather than the established view that everything revolves around a fixed, nonspinning earth.
