NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Minister Mozelle Hawkins Allen, 52, of McCain Road entered into rest April 8, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Minister Allen was a radio announcer for WKZK and a member of Spring Grove Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Georgia Mass Choir. Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Allen, North Augusta and Stacey (Wally) Garcia, Augusta; two sons, Scott Allen and Louis T. Allen, North Augusta; her mother, Minnie Hardy Hawkins, Augusta; two sisters, Shirley (Russell) Johnson, Irmo and Donna Brown, West Columbia; two brothers, Rev. Hubert (Christine) Quiller, Hinesville and Mike Hawkins, Augusta; eight grandchildren; three uncles, Amos (Josie) Hardy, North Augusta, Eddie (Jessie) Hardy, Augusta and Rev. Isiah (Mary) Hardy, Handover, Pa.; four aunts, Ella Samuels, Esteen Mabry, North Augusta, Susan Britton, Larsena Manard, Manhattan, NY; great aunt, Eloise McElveen, Charleston; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
