On Wednesday, the bluegrass gospel group won a Dove Award from the Gospel Music Association in its Southern gospel album category for the group's CD Live at Brooklyn Tabernacle.

The members of the group are brothers Jason and twins Aaron and Adam Crabb and their sisters Terah Crabb Penhollow and Kelly Crabb Bowling. According to their Web site, thecrabbfamily.com, more than 800,000 people attend Crabb Family concerts each year.

They have been nominated for Grammy Awards and have won Christian and bluegrass music honors. They are featured on Bill Gaither's 2003 Red Rocks Homecoming video filmed at Red Rocks, Colo.

Blur the Lines, the group's new CD, was released March 28. That's a good description of the youthful group's members (all younger than 30), who cross musical lines of Southern gospel, country and bluegrass.

They have performed in the Holy Land and Morocco and stateside at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn., and Carnegie Hall and the Brooklyn Tabernacle in New York City.

Gerald Crabb, the family patriarch, founded the group in 1994 and has written many of its songs. Kathy Crabb, their mother, is the business manager.
