AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. John Mark "J.M." Fulmer, 75, of Bonner Street, Aiken, died Monday, March 27, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at First Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Fred Andrea will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Aiken Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. Fulmer was born in Aiken to the late Quiller and Lucy Lott Fulmer. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict, came back to Aiken and later became the head greens superintendent at Houndslake Country Club. He was a member of American Legion Post #26, and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Jane Rutland Duckett Fulmer; his daughter, Jane F. Thornton, North Augusta; his sons, Patrick Mark Fulmer, Frederick Travis Fulmer and Travis Johnson Fulmer, all of Aiken; 17 grandchildren; three great grandchildren, six step children, Lindy Duckett, Charleston, SC, Randy Duckett, Aiken, Barry Duckett, Barnwell, SC, Mark Robinson, Bath, Sherri R. Barton, Aiken, Tony Robinson, Aiken; a sister, Linda Kay Schnackenberg, Columbia, SC; and three brothers, Quiller Jutson Fulmer, Robert Leonard Fulmer, Donald Lenwood Fulmer, all of Aiken. His first wife, Betty Jane Johnson Fulmer, and his second wife, Joyce Robinson Fulmer, preceded him in death. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church, P.O.
