Wild pitch costs Diamond Dogs



FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Clint Arnold scored in on a wild pitch in the 10th inning and Arkansas salvaged the third game of its series with Georgia with a 5-4 victory Sunday.

Georgia (17-5, 3-3) scored three runs in the ninth, including a two-run homer by Josh Morris, to send the game into extra innings. Bobby Felmy had a solo homer in the seventh.

Devin Collis (2-0) got the win for one and a third innings and Rip Warren (3-1) took the loss. Trey Holloway started for Arkansas (20-5, 2-4) and threw seven innings, giving up one run on four hits, before leaving the game with a 3-1 lead.

Designated hitter Wayne Hrozek had two hits and two RBIs for Arkansas.

Georgia's Nick DeSilvio, who pitched two innings, was hit in the head with a line drive by Jake Dugger to lead off the eighth. DeSilvio was taken to the hospital for tests and diagnosed with a slight concussion.
