EVANS, Ga. - Entered into rest on March 22, 2006, at Brandon Wilde, Miss Marvilla Lombard, daughter of the late George S. Lombard and Alice Clark Lombard. Miss Lombard was a life long resident of Augusta and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Augusta. She was also member of the Daughters of American Revolution, the Daughters of American Colonies and the Magna Carta Deans. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Mary Lombard; her nieces and nephews, Shelby Chapman, Barbara Ann Wood, Alice Hamilton, John Hamilton, Stewart Barrett, Jr., Charles Bowen, George Bowen, Jane Lombard, Riley Lombard; a special cousin, Suzanne Bowen and a number of great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Jerry Beasley for the many years of care and friendship he gave Miss Lombard.
