AUGUSTA, Ga. - Helen B. Sheeler, 87, entered into rest on Friday, March 10, 2006, at her residence. Mrs. Sheeler was a native of Tobyhanna, Pa., having made the Augusta area her home for the past three years. She was born on December 9, 1918, in Dodge City, Kan., to the late Charles and Estella Brown. Mrs. Sheeler retired after 42 years as a registered nurse from Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, Pa. Family members include a daughter, Helen S. Duffy and her husband, Edward, of Evans; one sister, Phyllis Gobovich of Fullerton, Calif.; grandchildren are Tracy D. Krenz and Audrey D. Harden; great-grandchildren are Zoe M. Krenz and Sasha N. Harden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Luschinsky Sheeler; sister, Mable Ward; brother, Orval Brown; and great-granddaughter, Phoebe T. Krenz. The Vigil for the Deceased (Rosary) will be held today, Sunday, at 4 p.m. and the family will receive friends until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the family plot at Ss.
