HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Franklin E. Ross, Jr., of Crosscreek Road, entered into rest Friday, March 10, 2006, at Westwood. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Ross was a native of New York where he lived most of his life before moving to Augusta in 1992. After 34 years of service, he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Hew as a deacon at Beulah Grove BAptist Church. Survivors are his wife, Lillian G. Ross; one son, Benjamin C. (Vivian) Ross, Hephzibah; two grandchildren, Anyannah Ross, Tevin Ross; step-grandchildren, Ariel Woodward, Justin Woodward; five sisters, Lelia (James) Johnson, Illinois, Margaret (Herman) Morris, Richmond, Va., Constance (Willie) Crudup, Gloucester, Va., Gloria Hawkins, Newberry, S.C., Rosetta Cummings, Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Washington (Shigeko) Ross, Martinez; sisters-in-law, Janice McCollin, Lorraine Currelley and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
