Most bras are the wrong size
According to research presented by Warcoal bras, eight out of 10 women are wearing the wrong size bra. Women interested in finding their true size and help with a good cause can go to Dillard' s at Augusta Mall on Friday for free fittings; for each fitting, Warcoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for research and outreach programs.
Mechelle White woke up to a ring on her finger, confirming that the late-night proposal from her boyfriend, Marcus Matthews, really happened.
"You know how if you've been tired all night you can wake up and wonder if something really happened? Well, that's how it was. I woke up and thought I had dreamed it, and then I looked on my hand... and jumped up on the bed," she said.
The proposal, which came alongside a busy highway in the middle of the night, was the culmination of years of friendship.
Reunited in 2003 after having dated for a short while years earlier, the couple built on the bond they had maintained throughout the years.
"Above all, he is my best friend," the bride said. "Above our relationship, he is a pillar of comfort to me and he's just the greatest guy ever."
The couple exchanged vows Saturday at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Augusta.
