AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Joseph T. Crenshaw, beloved husband of Ina Moseley Crenshaw, entered into rest Sunday, March 5, 2006 at University Hospital. Mr. Crenshaw was self-employed as an Electrical Plumbing Contractor before his retirement. He was a member of Lincolnton Church of Christ. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII between 1944 and 1946. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel, Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Leroy Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers include Ashley Crenshaw, Joseph "Bubba" Crenshaw, Jarrod Windham, James Wilkes, Chris Walden, Daryl Wiley and Tony Pate. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Crenshaw McLeod and John McLeod; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Crenshaw; sisters, Mary Lou Gault, Elsie C. Masters, Margaret C. Moye and Martha C. Wehrle. He is preceded in death by a wife, Leona B. Crenshaw; son, Joseph T. (Joel) Crenshaw Jr.; his brother, A. Clu Crenshaw and Victor O. Crenshaw and his sister, Dorothy C. Powell. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road between 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
