Art exhibit

An art exhibit by Ray Davenport will continue through March 30 in the lower gallery of the Etherredge Center at the University of South Carolina Aiken, 471 University Parkway. Admission is free. The gallery is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Call 641-3305.

Computer group

Jazz performances

Juilliard Jazz Orchestra will perform at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts, 126 Newberry St. S.W. The 18-member orchestra will present jazz styles of the past 100 years. Tickets are $40. Call 642-3189.

Tea and fashions

The sixth annual Tea and Fashion Show will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at North Augusta Community Center, 101 Brookside Drive. Jazz at the cafe

Jammin' with Juilliard Jazz will be held at 10 p.m. Saturday at Caf Monet at Southside Gallery, 752 Silver Bluff Road, Aiken. Beverages and light menu items will be available for purchase at the cafe and attendees can bring their own instruments. The event costs $20 and benefits Aiken Performing Arts Group. Ballet celebration

Aiken Civic Ballet Company will present La Celebration des Ballets at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Etherredge Center at the University of South Carolina Aiken, 471 University Parkway.

Artist recital

A Faculty Artist Recital will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in the Etherredge Center at the University of South Carolina Aiken, 471 University Parkway. The program will feature clarinetist William Foss soprano Martha Zakkary, flutist Cheryl Fryer, oboist Douglas Owens and guitarist Marina Alexander.
