GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. James "Jim" Walter Schriner, Sr. beloved husband of Mrs. Joanne L. Schriner entered into rest Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Eisenhower Medical Center. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 28, 2006 at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens chapel with Rev. Brandon Fulmer officiating. A native of Easton, Pennsylvania, Mr. Schriner served over twenty-two years in the US Army including Vietnam. After retirement from the Army in 1976 he worked as a civilian officer for the civil service. He was also a member of the Grovetown United Methodist Church. Survivors including his wife, Joanne L. Schriner of Grovetown include two sons, James Walter Schriner, Jr., of Easton, PA and Gerald Leonard Schriner of Grovetown; four daughters, Patricia Ann Garo, Easton, PA, Terry Lee Newman (Frederick) and Sara Louise Billiard (Mark) both of Phillipsburg, NJ and Joanne Marie Simon (Dallas) of Grovetown; a brother, Robert Schriner (Fanny) of Rosemead, CA and a sister, Sally Werkheiser (Martin) of Easton, PA; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
