WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. German Morales, Jr., age 47, husband of Geri Morales, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Burke Medical Center, Waynesboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 6, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Poteet Funeral Homes, South Chapel, with the Chaplin Fr. Irizary officiating. Burial will follow one hour after the service in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Morales was an avid fan of all sports including Nascar and football. He enjoyed playing video games, especially his PlayStation II. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Additional family members include his parents, German and Margarita Morales, Sr.; stepchildren, Johnnie Watkins, Wanda Hyatt, Angie Morales and Tony Brown; brother, Michael Morales; sisters, Debra E. Hawkins, Darlene Adams and Cynthia J. Manhart; aunts, Milca R. Spencer and Rosa A. Morales; uncle, Enrique Morales; 14 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. German was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Wendy Watkins, and nephew, Justin R. Adams.
