Pittsburgh Steelers fans came out and supported their team's dynasty of four Super Bowl titles in six seasons, and now the 1976 Steelers team will square off against the 1979 Steelers squad in The Augusta Chronicle's Super Showdown final.
Both Steelers teams easily dispatched of the Landry and Shula bracket winners, the 1997 Green Bay Packers and the 1990 San Francisco 49ers, respectively.
Fans can go to chronicle.augusta.com/polls to place their vote for the championship game.
Results will be in Feb. 5 editions of The Augusta Chronicle, the date of Super Bowl XL in Detroit.
