If abortion continues, the devil wins

The devil is at work today. His presence isn't obvious - or are we less aware? Where has respect and love for life gone? ...

Abortion is not the answer to problems such as poverty, rape or incest. We are no closer to solving these problems. Instead, we are left with a dead baby and a hurting mother. Abortion is the devil at work. The devil gets more than a dead baby, too. He leaves us with disrespect for all life. That's why we see an increase in suicide, euthanasia, infanticide, rape and violence.

Replace the word "rape" with "abortion" in this sentence. "I'm personally opposed to rape. I wouldn't do it, but I can't impose my morality on others." We don't tolerate rape in our society, so why allow and accept abortion?

I'm opposed to abortion for all humanity. It is evil. It is numbing our future generations to other evils. There are victims in abortion, too, and they need us to speak up for them.

We are a civilized society, so let's deal with this in a way that's pleasing to God and not offensive to Him. Let's educate our kids on love, chastity, sacrifice, fidelity, the sacredness of marriage and a respect for God's most precious gift: life. If we can teach them to really love, then they will want what's best for the loved, not instant self-gratification. Each life is worth it, even the unborn. We must believe in love, and be a soldier for Christ and pray. Don't let the devil win!
