Lee Sidener of Harlem caught this 30-pound striper in 12 feet of water near the Cherokee Creek section of Thurmond Lake. Sidener, who caught the big bass on a lead-head white pearl Super Fluke, was fishing with his friend, Kevin Hymar. They also caught some winter largemouths weighing up to four pounds.
