HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Entered into rest on Thursday, January 19, 2006, Jeron Daniel Wells, 24. Mr. Wells was a native of Tacoma, Wash., but had lived in Augusta most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a student at Augusta State University and a cook at Carrabba's. Family members include his mother and stepfather, Carol Lee and John Anchor of Evans; father and stepmother, Phil and Hui Wells of Augusta; brothers, Scott Wells of Hephzibah, Joe Wells of Augusta; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Goodwin of Evans; paternal grandmother, Voncile Wells of Augusta; maternal great-grandmother, Wilma Winters of Clyde, Kan. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 22, 2006, at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Interment will follow Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Poplar Head United Methodist Church Cemetery in Holmes County, Fla. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in honorof Jeron to a favorite charity.
