LADSON, S.C. - Mr. Talbert E. Creed, 64, loving husband of Angelika (Angela) Klehe Ballard Creed, entered into rest on Friday, January 20, 2006, at his residence. Mr. Creed was born March 9, 1941, in Augusta, but lived most of his life in Ladson, where he retired from the United States Post Office. As a decorated Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corp (retired) and a volunteer coach with the Summerville YMCA, he will be remembered as a gentle and loving husband, father, brother and Papa, who lived life to the fullest. Additional family members include his daughter, Deborah Nuzum and her husband, Donald; grandchildren, Michael and Catherine Nuzum, Summerville, S.C.; two sisters, Sandra C. Gay, and her husband, Bob, and Elaine C. Johnson and her husband, Gene; and four nieces. He was preceded in death by parents, Ernest T. Creed and Lila Creed Kittle, and stepfather, Oliver Barnard Kittle. Private funeral services will be held for the family anda Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
