Differences can become perfect fit
Does your spouse yin when you want to yang? Does he or she clean while you clutter, vote red while you ballot blue, or embrace the steak when you are very veggie?
We're looking for true stories of opposites attracting, couples that, despite extreme differences in opinion or lifestyle, have found a way to make love work. Send your stories to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call (706) 823-3626. The deadline is Feb. 3.
Love knew no bounds when it came to Brandi Rosier and Damon Anderson.
The two met in the fall of 2003 as part of a church group in Orlando, Fla. A little more than six months later, Mr. Anderson had moved to Charlotte, N.C., but his heart stayed with her.
"We had always enjoyed each other's company and had fun together but were never more than that," she said. "(Then) he called out of the blue to tell me he had feelings for me.
"I just knew that's who I wanted to marry. We had been long-distance, so I was definitely ready to move in that direction. I just didn't want to spend another day without him."
The couple exchanged vows Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Augusta.
