THIS IS TO UGA football fans. You do not have to defend Georgia's record to anyone. The person, who has written, all year, about Georgia being overrated, is full of jealous rage. I'll bet Vanderbilt and Wake Forest would like for someone to say that their football programs are overrated.

THIS IS A rant to Arthur Blank and Jim Mora. How long is it going to take you to realize Michael Vick is not your quarterback? He is so inconsistent. I would prefer to see Matt Schaub. He's the quarterback of the future for the Falcons. Wake up. Get real. Get rid of Vick.

I'M CALLING ABOUT the front page thing with Georgia. Anything but sweet? Well, yes, it was sweet because there are a lot of Mountaineer fans who live in Georgia in this area. This paper has always been biased toward Georgia. It's Georgia, Georgia, Georgia. Well, guess what? There are other teams out there and you need to print something about that. Guess what? Georgia lost. Eight to five is a three-point difference.

THIS IS A rant for Arthur Blank. This is his chance to make a change. Draft Vince Young and get rid of Michael Vick.

I SURE AM glad that the Falcons showed that Georgia Tech wasn't so bad. Atlanta sure has one heck of a QB. Yeah, right.

I GUESS THAT person who was handing out the "We Suck" award for 2005 should have waited until he saw Georgia's defense in the Sugar Bowl.

I'VE GOT TWO things to say: Almost Heaven is still in Athens, Ga., and Thank God I'm a Georgia Girl!

VINCE YOUNG WILL be a better quarterback than Michael Vick. He's not a hot dog and he'll stay in the pocket.

I GUESS IT takes criticizing a certain football team for some people to feel good about themselves. I think that's pathetic. They need to get a life.

THE THUG ELEMENT in sports has jaded many fans and misguided many youngsters. Sports advertisers have disgustingly embraced this unsavory behavior. Great coaches once taught manners and respect, not just Xs and Os. Now they teach "don't get caught." What a shame.

DON'T GET ME wrong. I love collegiate football! However, some tweaks need to be made by the collegiate football powers. First, the Heisman Trophy is awarded too early. Texas quarterback Vince Young surely was the most deserving. Why not wait until after the bowl games to award the trophy?

Next, not to beat the horse to death, institute a BCS playoff. This year was an exception, but just wait until one team is again severely "punished" because the money-greedy university presidents don't want change. Finally, is there anyone who dislikes listening to the talking heads during halftime? All they do is regurgitate what we have just seen.

How about bringing back the halftime show and allow the schools to display their wonderful musical talent. These kids work just as hard as the football players to prepare for their show.

I used to love watching the marching bands on television. Not just Bowl games, but EVERY collegiate game. Why did this change?
