I would like to respond to several concepts in recent letters.
The first concept is that atheists should start their own schools. My answer is that they have! It is called the government (public) school system, and it is paid for by all taxpayers - regardless of whether we agree with what is taught. Actually, atheists converted historically religious schools into secular humanistic schools. Pupils do much worse now than then.
The second concept is that government schools are religiously neutral. This is false. The evolution model is not science; cannot be examined using the scientific method; and is the only model taught in government schools. The Humanist Manifesto of 1933 states that "the universe is self-existing and not created." The Book of Genesis states that, in the beginning, God created the heavens and the Earth. These are antithetical.
The third concept is the separation of church and state. The concept is not in the founding documents of our nation. It was invented by activist judges with the help of the Anti-Christian Lawyers Union (I changed the name to protect true Americans). Georgia's current constitution specifically includes separation of church and state. South Carolina's constitution restrains the General Assembly, exactly as the U.S. Constitution restrains the Congress.
The last concept is that we should not challenge those who are against our religious beliefs. True Christian love is to help all of the persons we can to avoid eternity in the lake of fire.
