The other non-conference opponents announced Tuesday will play in Athens, Ga., but will not have return visits from Georgia.
Georgia will play host to Georgia Southern in a season-opening game on Aug. 30, 2008. Western Carolina is scheduled to play in Athens on Sept. 15, 2007, and Appalachian State will visit Sanford Stadium on Sept. 5, 2009.
Georgia has moved a home game with Troy University from Sept. 1, 2007 to Nov. 3, 2007. Georgia has to find a new Sept. 1 opponent for the 2007 schedule.
Georgia opens its 2006 season with a Sept. 2 home game against Western Kentucky.
Olympics
Coach's suspension is upheld by court
Embattled U.S. skeleton coach Tim Nardiello lost his bid Tuesday to be with his Olympics-bound team at this weekend's World Cup competition in Germany.
New York Supreme Court Justice James Dawson upheld Nardiello's suspension and issued his decision by fax one day after the coach went to court in Elizabethtown, N.Y., seeking reinstatement.
Nardiello, placed on paid administrative leave Dec. 31 by the U.S. Bobsled and Skeleton Federation after two sexual harassment complaints were made against him, is expected to continue appealing with hopes of coaching the U.S. team at the Turin Olympics in February.
He's scheduled to be interviewed by U.S. Olympic Committee officials later this week. The USOC has the final say on which athletes and coaches compose its delegation for the Turin Games.
