Smart girls club will have meeting

Girls between the ages of 12 and 15 are invited to join the smart girls club, an organization designed to teach girls to think independently and apply lessons learned from various books.

The club will meet from 4:30-6 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month at Tubman Middle School, 1740 Walton Way. The first meeting is Jan. 19.
