That's all, folks

Ryan Jackson, 15, was hunting from a ground blind in the Savannah River swamp near Beech Island, S.C., when this big boar approached from behind. The hog came within 15 feet of the Aiken youngster before he was able to turn and fire. The hog weighed 210 pounds. Ryan was hunting with his friend, Keith Bowers, and his uncle, Scott Castleberry. Hogs are considered nuisance species in South Carolina and can be hunted year-round. To see dozens of other hunting and fishing photos, visit our online scrapbook at www.augustachronicle.com/outdoors.
