AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Howard "Lil Boy" Cook, of Scott Road, entered into rest Friday, December 30, 2005, at the Amara Health Care. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2005 at 12 noon at B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert L. Williams officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mr. Cook, a native of Augusta, was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors are his wife, Carrie Cook; three daughters, Harriet Martin, Augusta, Vanita McKinnie, Augusta, Mary McClain, Takoma Park, Md.; two sons, Dennis Cook, Augusta, Alfreddie Cook, Winston Salem, N.C.; two sisters, Geneva Divine, Willie Mae Brown, Augusta; one brother, Joseph "Big Boy" Cook, Augusta; nine grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the funeral home. Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Rd., Hephzibah.
