I HAVE A RAVE FOR THE Partridge Inn. Eight of us ladies had lunch there yesterday. We had such a nice experience. Everyone was so helpful and the manager made it a pleasure to be there. We thank him and his staff.
IN REFERENCE TO THE woman who never received her popcorn from the Boy Scout: Last year I ordered $17 worth of candy from a school and to this day I have never received my candy. Thank you, and Merry Christmas.
I CAN'T UNDERSTAND why if Ronnie Few was innocent and he has the education and he was a very good fire chief, then why can't he have his job back. He was not found guilty on any charges. The man who is chief now - what is his education, OK? Ronnie Few surpasses him by miles. Ronnie Few is excellent. And if you don't know him personally, please keep your zipper on your mouth closed.
THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE all the Christmas lights are the ones who never go inside a church.
I CALLED TO WISH everybody a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. The right to be happy is urgent. So Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
I WAS A TEENAGER when World War II started. The first thing Adolph Hitler did was shut the church doors. People better get wise to the ACLU and put a stop to this now, or we will be living the way people did in Europe.
I'D LIKE TO ASK THE good people of the CSRA, when you get through reading paperback books that you buy, please don't throw them in the trash. There are a lot of old people at senior citizen homes who love to read. They don't like to watch television. They can't buy books. So please take your books when you get through reading them and donate them to a senior citizen home like Lake Crossing up on Washington Road. Thank you so much.
I'M CALLING IN A RAVE for Jay Jeffries, the former weatherman at Channel 12. I found out today that he's working at Paine College. I live in North Augusta and I have enjoyed his work at Channel 12, along with Bob Smith doing the weather. We sure miss him. I wish him the best at Paine College and I know he'll do a good job for them. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL picture on the front page of Tuesday's Augusta Chronicle. Such a good feeling for Augusta. Deke Copenhaver will be the best mayor in Augusta history.
THERE'S SUPPOSED TO be a culture war going on, but the only side that is fighting is the ACLU and the liberal activists. The Christians are listening to sermons on how to get God to make you a millionaire.
